After 50 hours of operation, the new generator set must replace the oil for the full loss system and the oil filter for the full loss system.

The maintenance of generator sets is generally divided into A, B, C, D and seasonal maintenance, and each level is calculated based on operating time or time span:

A-level maintenance and upkeep

A-level refers to monthly or pre run inspections:

1) Check the fuel level in the fuel tank; 2) Check the oil level of the lubricating oil; 3) Check the flatness of the coolant;

4) Check if the belt is loose; 5) Visually inspect the diesel engine for leaks; 6) Check whether the indications of each instrument are normal;

7) Check the voltage and capacity of the battery.

B-level maintenance

B-level maintenance with a maintenance time of 200-400 hours or an interval of 12 months:

1) Repeated A-level maintenance; 2) Replace the oil used in the diesel engine's full loss system;

3) Replacing filters: including oil filters, fuel filters, and water filters for full loss systems;

4) Release water and sediment from the oil-water separator; 5) Check the wiring terminals of the AC generator;

6) Clean up dust and other foreign objects inside the AC generator, control panel, and distribution cabinet; 7) Check the control system of the unit.

C-level maintenance

C-level maintenance with a running time of around 1500 hours or an interval of 24 months:

1) Repeat A and B level inspections; 2) Check the fuel injection time; 3) Check the valve clearance;

4) Check the wear condition of the fan, water pump, and charging generator drive belt;

5) Check and clean the cooling system, replace the coolant.

D-level maintenance

D-level maintenance with a running time of 4000 hours or an interval of 36 months:

1) Repeat the checks for levels A, B, and C; 2) Clean and calibrate the fuel injectors and fuel pump; 3) Inspect, repair or replace the turbocharger assembly;

4) Inspect, repair or replace the water pump assembly; 5) Add lubricating oil to the bearings of the AC generator.
