柴油机发电机组冷却系统在使用过程中冷却液会有一定的损失，需要及时向冷却系统加水，有些用户不是加冷却液或蒸馏水，而是直接加入硬水，结果硬水中的钙、镁离子很容易与普通冷却液中的无机盐成分形成水垢。
柴油发电机组水箱内如果水垢过多，杂物会堵塞水箱，而且容易点火不正，会导致发电机过热、热导率下降，直接影响散热效果从而减少柴油发电机组的使用寿命.那么怎样清除柴油发电机组水箱污垢呢？
1、用30公斤水，2.5公斤苛性钠，0.6公斤煤油配成清洗液，倒入水箱中。
Make a cleaning solution with 30 kg of water, 2.5 kg of caustic soda, and 0.6 kg of kerosene and pour into the radiator.
2、启动柴油机，中速运行10分钟左右后熄火。
Start the engine, run at a medium speed for about 10 minutes, and then turn off.
3、待10至12小时后再重新启动柴油机，中速运转10分钟左右熄火，放出清洁液。
Restar the engine after 10 to 12 hours,turn it off at a medium speed for about 10 minutes, and release the cleaning fluid.
4、加入清洁的冷却水后起动柴油机，中速运行自行清洁。
Start the engine after adding clean cooling water,medium speed operation self-cleaning.
5、如此反复2至3次，即可将水垢彻底清除干净。
Repeat the above steps 2 to 3 times to completely remove the scale.
